This sponsorshio takes our competition to a new level. The Golden Jester of 2012 will receive a cash prize of £1,000 plus paid gigs with Great Comedy Nights throughout London and the South East The top four Runners Up will each receive a cash prize of £250 and a chance to gig with Great Comedy Nights on pro-nights.  | Great Comedy Nights and the 'Golden Jester' competition were featured on the BBC in April. We were shown on the BBC3 programme 'Free Speech' with a presenter performing a 10 minutes set for the programme. Our resident compere Alan Sellers featured as did our ever grinning 'Golden Jester' himself. The venue was Belushis Greenwich and we had a superb night ! |

| The 'Golden Jester' Award 2012 Entries are now welcome for our 'Golden Jester' competition 2012. It's a fun competition, open to amateur comedians who have performed the majority of their gigs unpaid (i.e more than 50%). Can you get through to the final?. The winner of the 'Golden Jester' title will win a £1,000 cash prize courtesy of our sponsors Belushis., paid gigs at Great Comedy Night events, as well as other prizes.
